TED Istanbul 5th Graders are Blogging!

Your Teachers

Hi everyone! Let me tell you about myself. I was born in Antalya. I’m 30 years old. I graduated from Hacettepe University in 2000. I have been working at TED Istanbul for three years. I have a son. He’s three and a half years old. His name is Ata. I love spending time with my family. This year I’m very happy to be the teacher of such a clever (and sometimes talkative:) group of students.

Hi!  You all know me from previous years  as Mrs. Pam. This year I’m sharing split classes along with Miss Görür. I’ve been teaching at Ted for 10 years and have seen practically all of you grow up to become bright active students. I  graduated from the University of NSW in Australia years ago. I have two kids, a daughter studying psychology at METU and a son in year three high school. I spend all my time looking after my familyJ I hope this year will be a fun but beneficial year for all. Keep up the good work and see you all in class!

    Hi Teachers,

I am a teacher in the UK. Please could you tell your English and Art students about http://www.KidsStoriesOnline.com

There is a monthly writing and art competition which is online. There are authors and illustrators online who will leave feedback on each piece of work submitted. You can also ask the authors and illustrators questions. This is a great way to network.

    thanks
    karen
